8/30 2:45pm After a search on MosEspa.com I found the following POTF figs; Jawas, Hammerhead, R5-D4 and Tusken Raider for $7.95 each. They also have the typical ones, which you guys already know about;
Leia Ewok, Han Bespin, Luke Bespin, Luke Ceremonial and New Look Leia for $3.95 each. And for $7.95 each there is Prune Face, R2-D2, Luke Blast Shield, Monthma, Chewy Boushh and C3P0 with removeable limbs. And for $19.95
you can get Pote Sniken w/ At-At Driver or Leia Hoth w/ Death Star Droid.

8/27 10:20am I found the Anakin Naboo at Walmart last night and he comes 4 to a case of 32. He looks ok until you open him up and take that damn robe, then he is a very
good figure with great detail. Also received a Tatooine Showdown from a very guy last night and I must say it is the best E1 item to be produced yet. Its the best Maul and Jinn made to date and
its not the Mos Espa Anakin, which is always a plus. Happy Hunting!

8/23 10:00am Ok so some of you are paying in an excess of $100 for the R2 w/ Holo Leia. Well let me tell you dont pay any amount over cost, because
he was not recalled, defective or an exclusive! I have been informed by a very reliable source that Wave 28, Vader and Stormtrooper are ahead of expected ship date
and R2 was pushed back to be included in this case, which means 4 of each to a case. So the so-called rare R2 wont be as rare in a month or two, so dont get taken by anyone.

8/19 3:00pm UPS delivered my Adi Gallia and Jabba the Hut w/ two-headed announcer today, so keep an eye on the doors people, because they are on the way.
The new collection 3 box breakdown is as follows: 4x Adi Gallia, 3x Ody Mandrell, 3x Captain Tarpals, 2x OOM-9, 2x Gasgano / Pit Droid, 2x Ki Adi Mundi, 1x Boss Nass, 1x Chancellor Valorum. Why 2 Gasgano and 1 Valorum and 0 Mace Windus is beyond
me just another great marketing strategy from Hasbro I guess. EE has the cases in stock now and also the Tatooine Showdown and Mos Espa two pack for $49.99 for the two.

8/17 11:15am The Phantom Menace for the Playstation is slated to be released now in September. Force Commander for the PC in Late October. And Episode 1: Obi Wan Kenobi, the first person shooter game, is slated for 1st quarter of 2000.

8/13 10:30am I called the Fan Club this morning and they told me they have her back in stock, but there's a FC cache. To buy her you have to buy Ki-Adi also. They say the two are now packaged together for a $17.95 a pair.
So I went back to Mosespa.com to check it out. They had Adi on the site again but not with Ki-Adi, so my advice is go directly to the site and order her if she is the only thing you need, oh yeah Limit is One per customer.

and Pit Droids. The case breakdown is as follows; 6 to a case with 3 Anakins, 2 Pit Droids and 1 R2-A6. They also went for $19.99 each at FAO. Happy Hunting!
Why did Mos Espa get Adi Gallia First?

8/12 12:10pm Well I have received many questions on why the Fan Club got Adi Gallia before the stores did. At first I didnt know, but after thinking about it for a while I think I have figured it out.
George Lucas first off was very fustrated and upset when Ebay had the E1 figure before the May 3rd release date. And as of a week ago to 3 weeks ago ebay was flooded with Adi Gallia presales going for as much as $100.
So if you think about it how do you as a George Lucas and Hasbro eliminate this problem. Well you offer them to everyone at the same time (with a nice Mos Espa profit of couse going to yourself). You see once people realize they
can get the figures sometimes before the scalpers, why would you pay $50 to $100 for one? I personally think it was a brilliant step into eliminating scalping. Will it work, NO! But it is a nice step into eliminating it.

8/9 11:00am Target this morning had 12" Elec Mauls for $34.99 and also had the new Elec 12" WCW Goldberg and Sting. First off the WCW figs are not 12", which was reported by many
other sites, they are 8" tops. I know this doesnt belong on our site, but some of you are interested in Spawn Dark Ages figures and Target had all of them this morning. They were also making room for on the shelves for Cinema Scenes and Beast Packs (Jabba?), so keep an eye out.

Mos Espa Encounter Cinema Scene

7/30 1:50pm Today I spotted some Mos Espa Encounter Cinema Scene at Walmart for $18.64 a piece. This scene is very poorly done. The Commtech is still
below average with the voices, Anakin is the same sculpt with new arms and his hands are mud colored and stands out like a sore thumb. Jar Jar is a new sculpt but this one he is a dark orange and has the arm tatoos like Tarpals, which his
first figure didn't have, they also painted a pink tongue on him, which on many of the scenes was a mess and went pass the lips and painted his lips and mouth to go along with the tongue. Going back to the the CommTech chip, it is placed in a plastic holder connected to that back of the scene and you would ruin the background when you
take it off. And finally there is Sebulba, the saving grace of this set. He is very well done and much better than Sebulba with the pod. So, if u want Sebulba and a Commtech chip with Sebulba's face on it, this scene is for, otherwise I would pass.

New 12" News from TRU

7/25 12:00pm I went to TRU yesterday looking for my Reserve item, Theed Hanger. They didnt have one, but I did manage to have the General Manager of the store and Store Manager helping me.
GM's are usually never inside stores btw, but he was very friendly and looked up on the computer of any Playscenes, Elec. 12" or Cinema Scenes...there was none of course . But he told me to hold on and typed a new code into the
computer with his name and it pulled up all the Southwest TRU's stock. This included So.Cal, NV, AZ and UT. And not one store has gotten a thing as of yet. He also told me that they were promised and was keeping his fingers crossed
about getting, listen to this, a full pallete of Wave 2 12" by the second week of August and he said he was also told that he will be getting more of Wave 1 at the same time. I asked what is he going to do with all them and he said last time
we were short on them and would only get a box at a time, but if the preorder alot they will have them to satisfy our customers and dont see any problem in selling them. Well if true or not I am going to wait and see and not pay the prices of FAO Swartz.

Theed Hanger TRU Prebuy Item delayed

Well it looks like the good has ended. The Theed Hanger has been postponed from the guaranteed 7/15-28 date to the first week of August. I was also told no set date has been given yet, but rumor has it August 11th will be the date. While asking for this item they also informed me the Electronic 12" figures will also be delayed 2 weeks. If you hear anything different or find new items, email me with the info.

Taken directly from IGN PSXLucasArts confirmed with IGNPSX that it has cancelled its Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer for the PlayStation. LucasArts completely halted the development on its Star Wars Racer for PlayStation within the last few weeks, and is not likely to make any further public announcement about this transgression. Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer is currently available on both the Nintendo 64 and on PC. "It's true," said a LucasArts representative. "I can't elaborate on this any further than that, except to say that it's likely that the game wouldn't have been available in a reasonable time frame. If you look at the sales data on it, Racer has certainly been a viable product."
With this is mind, we asked whether The Phantom Menace would suffer the same fate. "There is no danger that Phantom Menace is in danger. There is, however, a new date frame for it. It's now due in September, which is more realistic. We don't anticipate that slipping any further. "LucasArts official statement: "While succeeding in both commercial and critical acclaim for the PC and N64 versions of Star Wars: Episode I Racer, LucasArts Entertainment Company will not proceed with the extension of the game for the Sony PlayStation platform. Instead, the company is refocusing its resources in anticipation of new titles, both Star Wars and original, for current and emerging platforms."

This weekend according to N Zone Magazine The Phantom Menace held on to 8th place and overall reaching $394.9 million. Titanic reached
400 in 66 days which is this Friday, the day the media predicts TPM to take over number 3 of all time ET with $399 million. So its going to be close to see if they reach $400 fastest ever. Other notes: Eyes Wide shut was number 1 this weekend,
while American Pie was 2, Big Daddy 3, Lake Placid 4, Wild Wild West 5, The Wood 6, Tarzan 7, TPM 8, Generals Daughter 9 and Muppets from Space number 10 for the weekend.
